Censorship and Ghana

SIR,—At the bottom of the page, and with no big headlines, I read in the 'Times Educational Sup- plement last December that the government of Ghana had set up a committee to remove from school libraries, university libraries and bookshops too, any publications which did not reflect the ideology of the National Convention Party.

That sounds bad. Where were our protest marchers who protest when a white government in Africa does wrong?
