Strange Priority

Denis Howell, Minister responsible for Sport, was at the match. He was telling me something of the plans for staging next year's World Cup. The main arena, naturally enough, is to be Wembley. It was planned that eleven matches should be played there. Only ten will be at Wembley, the other at the White City. We can't have Wembley on the other occasion for the World Cup—there is to be greyhound racing instead.
