The Gloucester election terminated on Tuesday, as we anticipated, in the return of Mr. Hope; whose majwity over his opponent, Colonel Webb, was 666 to 379. It is said that Mr. Hope pledged him- self to vote fur the immediate emancipation of the Negtoes. In consequence of the death of Mr. Heise, late Member of Parlia- ment for St. Ives, there ate already two candidates in the field, Ylee.re. heed and Stephens; and it is expected others will start Messra. The Town-Council of Dolma-ter have resolved to diapose of the Ros. sington estate, worth about 160,000/. This will enable them to pay off their enotmotts debt of about the same amount, left them as a legacy by the old body.
