The Queen and his Royal Highness Prince Albert will, we

understand, arrive in Paris on the 16th or 17th of August, as the guests of the Em- peror and Empress of the French, and to visit the French Exhibition.— Morning Herald.

The Gazette of last night states that "the Queen has been pleased to order letters-patent to be passed under the Great Seal, revoking the letters-patent of the Master-General, Lieutenant-General, and Principal Storekeeper, of the Ordnance. Her Majesty has likewise been pleased to order letters-patent to be passed under the Great Seal, vesting the civil administration of the Army and Ordnance in the hands of Fox, Baron Panmure, one of her Ma- jesty's Principal Secretaries of State."
