Sir: Months before I saw the Scargill salute commercial television this evening, I had en meaning to ask whether it would be ben to mount a film of clips of Adolf Hitler addressing his Nuremberg rallies in the Thirties, alternating with film clips of ,Arthur Scargill addressing his followers. ,The resemblance in movements of the arm rd hysteria had struck us here as early as last Year, when films of Hitler whipping up emotion were shown day in, day out, during the fiftieth anniversary of his Coming to power. Such a collage would peak for itself. No commentary would be necessary. It would be funny as well as Instructive, humour being a weapon the naturally ruled out. !allies Brockway
