An "occasional correspondent" of the Morning Post at Paris avers,

that the representatives of England, Austria, and Prussia, have for- mally declared to the French Cabinet that the commercial union be- tween France and Belgium would be considered by the Great Powers as a violation of the treaty of London, which proclaimed the neutrality and independence of Belgium; and have announced their intention of combining to defeat such a measure. A courier was expected from Russia to instruct its representative to join in the protest.
