'The Leeds Intelligencer of this morning claims for the Conservatives

a gain on the revision of Parliamentary voters in the West Riding, of B53 votes. The Leeds Mercury, of the same date, admits that the Liberals have lost 96. In each of these papers several columns are occupied with articles intended to influence the approaching Municipal elections. The main point-of controversy appears to be the compara- tive cost of the old and new systems of administering the affairs of the borough.
