The Emperor of Austria arrived in Paris on Thursday, and

was well received by the Parisians, who see in him, first, a possible ally ; and, secondly, a capital mode of satirizing their Govern- ment. So they praised him loudly for granting liberty of the press, ministerial responsibility, right of meeting, and everything they would themselves like to have, but have not. "Hears I" is the cry of the Faubourg St. Antoine for Austria, and "Liberte comme en Autriche !"
