A CLASSLESS SOCIETY SIR,—The New Testament states that the early

Christians " had all things common .. . . As many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet ; and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need." This is pure Communism, but is steeped in the ethics of Jesus. I see no reason why this principle of Communism should not spread over the world. It must not be forced on anyone either by direct military power, or by the subtle methods of political repression.
