The Paris Press has been ordered to maintain absolute silence

upon the progress of the campaign, and publish only the infor- mation communicated by the Ministry. It is supposed, but not known, that this order will only last for a few days. It is very inept, for the Embassies are sure to hear the truth ; and if one Parisian knows it, it will be all over Paris in two hours.
