On the 19th inst., suddenly, at Ball's Park, Hurts, the seat of his son-in-law, Captain Townhend, Rear-Admiral Lord GEORGE STUART, in MS :61St year. His Lordship was the youngest son of the late Marquis of Bute.

At hisresidence. Ferran Hill, Tavistock, iu his 81st year, Joux GILL, Esq., one of the oldest Deputy-Lieutenants in Devonshire.

Berks, in his 81st year, the Rev. Truisms PEAIISON, formerly Fellow of Queen's College, Oxford, and for up- wards of thirty-seven years Vicar of the above mentioned place. On the 16th iust., at Melville Terrace, Stirling. Ione TOVEy, Esq., in his 88th year. On the 18th inst., in her 18th year, at Burlington Hall, Norfolk. alter an illness of only thirty-six hours. MARY, the only surviving daughter of H. N. Barroughes, Esq., On the 21st inst., at Ramsgate, EDWARD SHAIWE BAVENSILAW, youngest son of the late Rev. William Guuthorpe, of the Island of Antigua, in his 15th year. At Carpentier, France. Mademoiselle DE BERTIGNE, who for nearly twenty years was seen at Brives and its neighbourhood dressed in male attire. This lady was a natural child of the Duke of Brunswick. held a Colonel's commission in his Regiment, and was for her acts of courage invested with several Orders. She could speak with facility seven or eight languages.
