A SPECIAL, housing problem troubles the self-dependent woman who needs a home of her own. She cannot find it in a boarding-house ; she wants not merely a roof over her head, but a place -of her own where she can be herself and not just one of a crowd, where she can cook her own meals and lire her own life economically and entertain her friends.

The WoMen'a :Pioneer Housing Limited, of 92 Victoria Street, S.W.„1,, is making a contribution towards the solution of this problem by converting large empty houses into _self- contained flat's` 1:tat are let at rentals ranging from 135 to £125 per anniini.
