NATIONAL UNION OF WOMEN WORKERS OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND.

vro Tux EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR.") SIR,—Now that the Insurance Bill has become law, all who are concerned with the welfare of women—whether they approvo of the Act or not—realize that it is of the utmost importance that women, as far as possible, shall be saved from becoming Post Office contributors and shall be induced to join good approved societies. With this object in view the N.U.W.W. is forming a committee— (a) To collect information about the existing provision for women in friendly societies and trade unions, and (b) The terms upon which men's societies propose to admit women under the Act.

I shall be most grateful if all those who have any information to offer on the subject will communicate with me as soon as 210 Ashley Gardena, S.W.
