Writing on 'The Press' in your issue of November 18 Mr Donald McLachlan says: 'The Express . . . must be wondering what the key to success is. In the first half of this year it looked as if it might be slowing the decline that had brought it ... to under four million in July-December 1965. We shall know in January.'

Correct. We do know. The ABC audited daily average figure for July-December 1966 is over four million. /
