Not That Mr. Davies I find myself obliged, once and

for all, 1 hope, to correct a correction. Mr. Ivor Davies, who has hopes of being Liberal Member for Oxford City, got it wrong about Mr. Ifor Davies, the Labour MP for Gower, who certainly wouldn't be seen protesting against German troops at Castlemartin, and it was Mr. Ivor Davies, the secretary of the campaign committee against the training of German troops in Wales, who marched with Messrs. Foot and Abse and their banjo-playing beatniks two or three weeks ago. Last week I passed on Mr. Davies's error and confused Mr. Davies with Mr. Davies, and now I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I am apologising to all Davieses, past, present, and to come, but especially to that Mr. Davies who sits in the House of Commons, takes a very proper view of Hun-haters, and would certainly wish to be confused neither with Mr. Davies nor Mr. Davies.
