G.E.C. REPORT.

The Report of the General Electric Company for the past year is a satisfactory one, having regard to the general con- ditions of depression, the profit being £1,122,000, against £1,179,000. A sum of 1241,676 is placed to depreciation, against £224,694 a year ago, while the directors pay the normal dividend of 10 per cent. and carry forward £4A)0,880, against £379,165 a year ago. Profits in the previous year were abnormally large, a circumstance which was then recognized

by a special extra dividend of 4 per cent. A. W. K.
