You are invited to suppose that the Wife of Bath's fifth husband was alive, not dead, and described by Chaucer in the Prologue to The Canterbury Tales. You are free to write in the manner of Chaucer (difficult) or in the manner of Chaucer modernised (as in Neville Coghill's Penguin version). Maximum 16 lines.
