The Dublin Evening Post contains the following paragraph--

" It is with great delight we have to state, that we have seen a letter from India, which flatly contradicts the report of the murder of Messrs. Connolly and Stoddart by the barbarians in Bockhara. The account comes ski Meshid, and is grounded oa letters received by certain Jewish houses in that place. The writer has no doubt of their veracity. We shall be happy to confirm this statement, for the sake of those who entertain doubts. For ourselves our hopes are much stronger than our apprehensions."
