There will be apparently other great political criminals for trial
as well as Mr. Davis. Governor Brown, of Georgia, bad been forwarded under guard to Washington a day or two before Mr. Davis, and members of Mr. Davis's Government have been captured with him or elsewhere. The State trials are to be public in future.
