A CLERGYMAN'S EPITAPH ON HIMSELF.

[TO THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."]

Sre.,—You only quote half the epitaph written on himself by a clergyman. Let me give the full text :— " Beneath this yew, the shadow of a shade,

A little harmless singing priest is laid ; He loved his life, though not of death afraid, And loved his Maker, though most strangely made."
