V.T.C. AND SHOT-GUNS.

[To THE EDITOR OP THE " SPECTATOR.")

SIR,—Have you not made a slip in your last issue, p. 619 ? Would shot- guns be allowed, under the Hague Convention, in the trenches ? I believe that only clean, nickel-coated bullets are allowed.—I am, Sir, &c.,

WALTER LARDER.

[Shot-guns are not banned by the Geneva or Hague Conventions, but only explosive, i.e., expanding, bullets.—En. Spectator.]
