The " turn-out" at Ashton has been brought to a

close. This, we conjecture, is in part owing to the fact that the workpeople have grown tired of a protracted manoeuvre which is a continual loss to them, for the profit only of the mercenary dealers in agi- tations and "strikes"; but it is also owing to the revival of movement in the factory districts, which movement is now joined by most of the mills in Ashton.
