WORLD "REFUGEE YEAR

SIR,—Most of us prepare quite long lists of Christmas presents, not only for children but also for adults. This year I am asking my adult relations and friends not to give me anything but instead to give the money they would have spent on me to World Refugee Year and I am suggesting to them that they might like Ine to do the same.

No doubt a number of your readers will alreadY have thought of some such scheme, but the idea seems to me worth a little publicity.—Yours faithfully,
