Thursday morning. Early on the same day the War Office had arranged a scheme of remuneration. He died therefore without having heard that justice had been done him—a-justice which he could,• however, never have‘enjoyed, having sold most of his rights in the gun to Colonel Roden, who, we presume, will• now obtain the reward.
