THE NEW MERGER.
In the case of Mond Nickel, the reports of fusions have now been confirmed by the announcement of negotiations for a 'merger with the International Nickel Company of America. It is understood that the Mond. Nickel ,Company will receive for each-of its ordinary and preference shares, corresponding shares in the new company, while the International Nickel 'Company will obtain for each of its shares six ordinary shares in the new company. °Wring, it is stated, to the largek number of preference shares in the Mond Company, the earning of the new combine will be divided in the proportion of 41 to 1 in favour of the International Company. The announce- ment of the present 'rnerger follows the visit of the chairman of the Mond Nickel Company to the United States.
