Mr. Winston Churchill has been adopted as Parlia- mentary candidate

by the Epping Unionist Associa- tion. Recent reports that Mr. Churchill had made up his mind to rejoin the Unionist Party have thus been justified. It should be stated, however, that the Epping Unionists and Mr. Churchill- have agreed that he shall be described as a " Constitutional and anti-Socialist " candidate. The delicate distinction probably will not mean very much, for in all vital matters Mr. Churchill will, of course, act as a Unionist. His great debating powers will be very welcome in the House of Commons. Epping provides him with a very good prospect of being returned, though not exactly with a safe seat.
