Easter Weather

There were snow-showers in many districts of this county on Easter Monday.—LOCAL PArEa.

CHILLIEST of trees, the cherry now Is hung with snow along its bough, And stands about the woodland-ride, Wearing white for Easter-tide.

So now I'm sure it would be best To don my very thickest vest, And if of vests I had a score, I would not leave one in the drawer : And since there's nothing yet in bloom, But all is wrapt in fog and gloom,

About the woodlands will I go,

And see the cherry hung with snow.
