This titlepa.ge shows a rather discreditable attempt on the part of Mr. BALL to appropriate to himself the property of another person. The words, we have no doubt, are his own ; but the music is that of BELLINI. It is the beautiful air " Ah non fia sempre odiato," from II Pirate, merely transposed into A, with the omission of a few bars. The arrangement of the English words is good ; but the titlepage ought tot stand thus—" The words by WILLIAM BALL, arranged to the music of BELEM."
