Accounts of the harvest fluctuate with the weather. It appears

pro- bable that considerable damage has been done to the crops in the Southern and Eastern counties, by the heavy rains which fell at the end of last and the beginning of this week. From the North the reports are still favourable : the harvest is abundant, and a large portion has been got in.
