SUBURBAN WAR FOOD SOCIETIES.

[To TES EWTOR 01, THE "arserAToft.") SIR,—The Parliamentary War Savings Committee advises the formation of village War Food Societies, but I should think there is more land and also more spare-time labour in the suburbs of towns. When that want was satisfied more land could be got ready for the Use of disabled soldiers able to take up such work, and still more for the use of discharged men after the war is over.—I am, Sir, Sze.,
