The Rev. Joseph Hindle, B.D. Fellow of St. John's College, has been presented, by the Master and Fellows of that society, to the Vicarage of Iligham, in Kent, vacant by the death of the Re;'. II. Hargreaves, M.A. On the 18th instant, the Lord Bishop of Peterborough instituted the Rev. John Wetherell, jun. M.A. to the Rectory of Carlton, in the county of Northampton, vacant by the resignation of the Hon. and Rev. Henry Watson ; on the preeent.ition of Sir J.H. Pohner, Bart. The lien. The Rev. Jas. Davies, M.A. has been instituted to the Vicarage of Windrush met Sherburne, Gloucestershire.

On Thursday last, the Rev. Henry Hineham, A.13. was licensed to the perpetual cure of Saint Sampson's, otherwise Golan!, in Cornwall, un the nomination of Iffim Raslileieh, of Menabilly, Esq.

Mr. Claisford, the Begins Professor of Greek in the University of Oxford, it is said, succeeds to the Prebendary at Durham, vacant by the death of the Earl Cl Bridgwater.
