The Labour Resignations On Tuesday two members of the Labour

Party, Dr. Forgan and Mr. John Strachey, sent in their resignations to the Prime Minister. The resignations of Sir Oswald Mosley, Lady Cynthia Mosley and Mr. W. J. Brown are expected to follow. Those who resign will not receive the .Labour whips, but- it does not seem to be quite certain at present what else will happen. If they seek re-election they cannot stand as Labour candidates in the ordinary sense, as every Labour can- didate has to be approved by the National Executive of the Party-. They will have to form sooner or later an independent group. *• *
