PROFITS FROM SALT.

The profit-earning power displayed by Cerebos Limited is very striking. Once again the Directors are able for the past year to declare a dividend of 30 per cent., free of tax, while the profit for the year at 1226,218 is actually about £13,000 more than for the previous year. Before paying the dividend, therefore, the Directors were able to place £50,000 to Reserve, while the carry forward is £118,536, as compared with 192,319 a year ago. The balance-sheet, too, is a very strong one, with a total of Cash of nearly £300,000, while British Government Securities and other Investments stand in the balance-sheet at £257,385, as compared with £256,502 a year ago.
