One man's meat is another man's poison. It is a good omen, however, that Mr. Churchill in the debate of Tuesday was definitely on the side of Free Trade. A trial of strength between Mr. Churchill and the insurgent Union- ists may be inevitable. It will be most interesting to see what happens.
