The French legislators are engaged with their laws for the

admi- nistrative organization of communes and departments. The Com- missioners appointed to examine the projects have made such alterations upon the Ministerial projects as removes all the objec- tions ofthe Liberal party ; but, from the complicated nature of the laws, it is supposed that both cannot pass this session. The Cham- ber has decided, against the wish of the Ministers, to discuss the law which regulates the administration of the departments first ; and this, the more important measure, it is supposed will pass.
