SAVING PAPER SIR, —" Janus " in his recent references to

paper-shortage referred to scores of publications which serve no useful purpose at all. I would like to draw attention to the thousands of company-reports which are circulated to shareholders. I feel confident that the vast majority on receiving such a report and finding that it is not a dividend, place it promptly unread in the waste-paper basket. Would it not be possible to provide that such reports be not circulated and be only supplied to any shareholders at their request?—Yours faith-
