Michael's Treasures. By Emma Marshall. (Nisbet and Co.)—Here we have

a little story built on the incident more familiar, we fancy, in fiction than in real life, of a little child that is thrown ashore, the sole survivor of a shipwreck. There is a good boy, Michael, and a bad boy, Jimmy, and each has his deserts apportioned out to him. The book is hardly worthy of the author's reputation.
