An interesting item of American news is that the United

States Government has filed a suit to dissolve the Steel Cor- poration, the biggest trading company in the world. It has a capital of some £300,000,000 sterling. Among those who have been made defendants to the suit, in addition to the company, are Mr. Louis W. Hill, President of the Great Northern Railway Company, and Mr. Andrew Carnegie.
