SIR,—As there appears to have been no immediate reply to

your correspondent's poser on C. S. Lewis's indecipherable handwriting (October 14) I venture to ask if the reference could be to Dr- Robert Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible, i.e., 'Mr Young on words.'

I would have written earlier but for the reflection that a cleric editing an essay on 'Religious Language' must surely have dismissed Young's familiar 'words' as not congruent. Yet, on second thoughts, I may be out of touch with the theological equipment of up- to-date chaplains.
