POSTSCRIPT

*SATURDAY NIGHT.

The Paris papers of Thursday supply little intelligence worth notice.

The treaty between France and Texas was signed in Paris on Wed- nesday; France recognizing the independence of the Republic. The intercourse between the two countries is to be placed on a footing of perfect reciprocity. The treaty will not be published until after its ra- tification by the President and Legislature of Texas.
