Sir: 'Where is Rachel Campbell-Johnston?' Stephen Glover (Media studies, 21 Septem- ber) asked, mockingly. She is, if he really wants to know, writing well-crafted obituar- ies for the Times every day.

If Mr Glover is not careful, she may soon be writing his obituary. Chivalry is still alive at the Times, and some of us here are dust- Mg off our duelling pistols.
