THE ASSISTING OF INNOCENT "ALIEN ENEMIES."

[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPEC TATOR.") should be much obliged if you could find space to inform your readers of the work the Emergency Committee for the Assistance of Germans, Austrians, and Hungarians in Distress (convened by the Religions Society of Friends to aid innocent " alien enemies" in Great Britain rendered destitute by the war) are doing at the address below, and of the appeal we are making for funds. You will notice that the appeal has the sympathy of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the approval of the Home Office and the American Consul.—I
