the works of the admirable ROBERT HALL. Our opinion of his merits has been warmly expressed. There is a portrait here : but who can take the portrait of an orator ?—if he is not in his mood of inspiration, you might as well picture a log ; if he is, beware of caricature. In all points of getting up, this work is to be mentioned. as; an example: we shall probably return to the Life: • NO good libraiy can dispense with this splendid (in all senses splendid) set of books.
