COUNTRY ELECTIONS.—By the arrivals this morning, it appears that the

poll for Perthshire, at the close of the first day, stood thus—for Lord Ortnelie, 1,631 ; for Sir George Murray, 1,064; majority, 567. This was reckoned quite decisive, as there did not remain above 400 voters to poll.

In Newry, Lord M. Hill heads Mr. Maguire by 63.
