In the early part of the week the Conaol Market

was steady, and at one time Consols were done at 931, f. Yesterday, how- ever, they closed heavily at 92f, 93, Reduced and New Three per Cents. were 931, ; Exchequer Bills, lls. to 15s. prem. Bank Stock has advanced from 249 to 251. India Five per Cents. have been firm at 112 to 112f. India Bonds, 35s. to 38s. prem, The Foreign House has been dull, and prices generally have been depressed. The scrip of the Orel-Vitebsk Railway Loan has gone to lf, I, prem. There is an improved feeling in the Railway Share Market, and at the fortnightly settlement no great scarcity of stock was experienced, owing principally to the fact that many of the adverse speculative accounts have been closed. Money has been in good request, at lf per cent. for the best short bills. The stock of bullion in the Bank of England is 21,349,789/. ; in the Bank of France, 45,078,2521.
