On the 22d September, drowned off theDape of Good Hope, John William, eldest son of John Murton, Esq., of Cooling Castle, Kent, and chief of of the Monarch East Indiaman.; in his 29th year. On the 4th January, accidentally drowned in the Nile, near Cairo, on his passage to Bombay, Harry G. Fraser, Esq., Cadet H.E.I.C.S., eldest son of Major T. G. Fraser, Twenty-ninth N.I., Bombay Army, and Assistant Commissary-Genera], Belgaum ; in his 17th year.
