The Poems of Sir Walter Scott. " Handy-Volume " Edition.

(Bradbury, Agnew, and Co.)—This edition, besides being prettily bound and cheap, has in our eyes but one merit, but that is a great one. It is the easiest and pleasantest to read we have ever taken up. The illustrations are trashy, and the gilding coarse and careless; but for anybody who likes to take up Scott at an odd moment, and croon him over in peace, the edition is most excellent. It weighs nothing, the volumes will open, and the print is as clear as can be.
