Stanford's geological Atlas of Great Britain and Ireland. By Horace

Stanford. 12e. 6d. net.)—This is a second edition, revised throughout as to both text and maps, and largely augmented by "a sketch of the geological features of Ireland, its counties and :pain lines of railway." It may be remembered that a very useful eection of the work is described as " Fen:tures Observable Along the Principal Lines of Railway in Great Sritain." The English counties, with their geological formation, are pictured for its in thirty maps, being grouped together or divided as the exigencies of the 'subject demand. Wales, Scotland, sted Ireland have two maps apiece.
