Royal Academy Pictures, 1907. (Cassell and Co. 55.) — Them are advantages

in having the Academy reduced to black and white. No doubt the good pictures suffer, but they are so few; and against this loss must be set the inestimable gain of having the violence of colour of the bad pictures, whose name is legion, tamed and made harmless. The reproductions are very well executed.
