AnninAurv, March 21.-The following promotions have this day taken place con- sequent upon the death of Admiral Sir E. Hamilton, Bart. K.C.B.-Admiral of the Blue G. Barker to be Admiral of the White ; Vice-Admiral of the Red the Earl of Dundonald, G.C.B. to be Admiral of the Blue; Vice-Admiral of the White W. H. B. Tremlett to be Vice-Admiral of the Red ; Vice-Admiral of the Blue J. Impey to be Vice-Admiral of the White ; Rear-Admiral of the Red C. P. Bateman to be Vice- Admiral of the Blue; Rear-Admiral of the White Sir C. Napier, K.C.B. to be Rear- Admiral of the Red; Rear-Admiral of the Blue A. It. Sharpe, C.B. to be Rear- Admiral of the White; Capt. W. W. Henderson, C.B. K.H. to be Rear-Admiral of the Blue. And the following officers have been also promoted to the rank of Retired Rear-Admiral, under the terms proposed in the London Gazette of the 1st Septem- ber 1846, without increase of pay-Captains J. Digby ; C. Warde, K.H. ; W. Ffa- rington ; J. Rattmy ; J. Allen.
